SCHEDULE THE DISCOVERY SCUBA DIVING PROGRAM
DAY 1 (45 minutes)
Present yourself between 09h00 to 12h00 or 15h00 to 18h00
Vide Season (25 minutes)

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:
1) Knowledge Development in a classroom or online, home
study to understand basic principles of scuba diving
2) Confined Water Dives: learn basic scuba skills
3) Open Water Dives: review your skills and explore!

INCLUDES
- Qualified Instructor by the Association of Diving Instructors (PADI)
- Theoretical classes: Participants are responsible for reading by themselves 5 chapters of the Open Water Manual, this knowledge will be reinforced with summaries videos that the program offers, which are seen in the Dive Center; the instructor will be available on the second day of the program to review knowledge reviews of each chapter and
the doubts that the student had during his study; the last day of the program will take the final exam. - Practice: A session of confined water (pool, 4 hours) and 4 open water dives (2 days)
- Complete Dive Gear: 5 or 7mm wetsuit, Regulator, BCD, mask, fins, boots, hood, gloves, weight belt and AIR tanks (does not include dive computer).
- Open Water manual (DIGITAL) and logbook
- Transport to / from the sites of the practices.
- International PADI Open Water Diver Certification (if for some reason a student only meets two open water dives, you get a certificate PADI Scuba Diver)
- Towels and lunch services on board

BARTHOLOME

Located east of Santiago Island, a small Island with the famous Bartholomew pinnacle.Moderate currents. A platform is found at approximately 10 meters of depth where a variety of reef fishes reside. On the edge of this platform there are underwater cliffs which start at about 15 meters deep with good probabilities to observe pelagic species.
COUSINS

Located north-east of Santiago island near Bartholomew island. Dive sites located at 1 hour and a half from Itabaca Channel (North side of Santa Cruz Island). Normally there are no strong currents at this site; this is partly a reef dive, partly a wall dive where the endemic black coral is found.
DAPHNE

Located north of Santa Cruz Island, an exposed rock, one dive site located 30 minutes from Itabaca Channel (North side of Santa Cruz Island). Normally there are no strong currents at this site, rocky and sandy bottom, here we find a small cave (this is NOT a cave dive) where white tip ref.
SEYMOUR CHANNEL

Located north of Santa Cruz Island, 2 dive sites located 25 minutes from Itabaca Channel (North side of Santa Cruz Island). For all levels of divers, although sometimes there can be strong currents, platform reefs with a diversity of fish species, has sandy bottom with10 meters reef where there is a lot of tintoreras sharks and fish cleaning station.
SEYMOUR POINT

Located North of Santa Cruz Island, located 30 minutes from Itabaca Channel (North side of Santa Cruz Island). It is a point a little more difficulty in relation to Channel Seymour. Rocky bottom with small caves at 12mtr where you can find turtles or sharks resting stripes; can occur currents a little strong, diving is mixed this means that the dive is in the coast and then goes to the blue to look pelagic animals.
MOSQUERA NORTH

Located north of Santa Cruz Island between North Seymour Island and Baltra Island. This is an islet that emerges from the sea (sand bar), one dive site located 25 minutes from Itabaca Channel. Normally there are no strong currents, sandy bottom between 10 meters with garden eels and pelagic species. Presents a sandy rock area that connects with Seymour channel where must be found reef fishes and tintoreras rest.
MOSQUERA SOUTH

Located north of Santa Cruz Island between north Seymour Island and Baltra Island, this is an islet that emerges from the sea (sand bar), one dive site located 25 minutes from Itabaca Channel (North side of Santa Cruz island). There are not strong currents; a big reef of 5 meters with an inclination ravine of 18mtr with black coral and mollusks invertebrates; there is also a submarine cany on from18 meters with pelagic species.
FLOREANA

Located south of Santa Cruz Island, 3 possible dive sites: Punta Cormorant, Champion and Enderby; it is 1 hour and a half away from our base. mean depth of 18 mtr. Normally this site does not present strong currents. This is a reef dive site where corals and sponges can be found. Cleaning station, sea lions, Galapagos sharks, white tip reef shark, turtles, reef fishes, sting rays, eagle rays, barracudas, variety of invertebrates.
