ISLAND HOPPING
SANTA CRUZ - ISABELA / COMBINED PLAN
DAY 1: TRANSFER IN – SANTA CRUZ – ISABELA – HOTEL.
On the first day, you will transfer to Santa Cruz Island and then proceed to Isabela Island. Once you arrive, you will check in to your hotel and have the rest of the day to relax and explore the surroundings.
DAY 2: FLAMINGO LAGOON – WETLANDS – TINTORERAS ISLET.
You will visit the Flamingo Lagoon, where you can observe these beautiful birds in their natural habitat. Then you will explore the Wetlands, which are known for their diverse wildlife and mangrove ecosystems. In the afternoon, you will head to Tintoreras Islet, where you can see marine iguanas, sea lions, specially white tip shark, and other fascinating species.
DAY 3: ISABELA – SANTA CRUZ – CHARLES DARWIN STATION.
After breakfast, you will return to Santa Cruz Island and visit the Charles Darwin Research Station you can learn about the conservation efforts taking place in the Galapagos Islands and see the famous Galapagos giant tortoises.
DAY 4: SANTA CRUZ – TORTUGA BAY – HIGHLANDS – TWIN CRATERS.
You will start by visiting Tortuga Bay, a stunning white-sand beach known for its crystal-clear waters and marine iguanas. Afterward, you will explore the highlands of Santa Cruz, where you can observe giant tortoises in their natural habitat. Finally, you will visit the Twin Craters, which are volcanic formations surrounded by lush vegetation.
DAY 5: TRANSFER OUT – AIRPORT.
On the last day of your trip on Island Hopping, you will transfer back to the airport for your departure from the Galapagos Islands.
