ITINERARY
Day 1: Quito – Cuicocha – Otavalo – Peguche- Quito
Our tour begins with a visit to the fascinating Cuicocha Lagoon, witness of indigenous rituals. We continue to the vibrant Poncho Market in Otavalo. Admire the Pegucheel Waterfall, an ideal place to connect with nature.
Day 2: Tour Quito – Mitad del Mundo – Agave
We will explore Quito and head to the Middle of the World, symbol of the equinoctial line. In the afternoon, discover the heritage value of Agave, part of the Ecuadorian Inter-Andean Valley.
Day 3: Quito – Saquisili – Rosas – Cotopaxi National Park – Agua Santa Baths
On the third day, visit the Saquisili Market, observing the life of the indigenous communities and their products. Discover the majesty of the Cotopaxi Volcano and the Limpiopungo Lagoon in the Cotopaxi National Park. Afterwards, adventures in Baños de Agua Santa, an exciting and cool destination in the Andes.
Day 4: Free Day in Baños de Agua Santa
Day 5: Baños de Agua Santa – Manto de la Novia – Pailon del Diablo – Yanacocha Lagoon – Chimborazo
On this day, waterfalls route: Manto de la Novia and Pailon del Diablo. Discover the Yanacocha Lagoon, with its natural beauty and ancestral value in the “Inti Raymi” festival. Finally, relax in Chimborazo overlooking the volcano.
Day 6: Chimborazo - La Balbanera Church - Colta Lagoon - Ingapirca/Cuenca
On this day we will start from Chimborazo, visit the historic Balbanera Church and the peaceful Colta Lagoon. We will explore the ruins of Ingapirca and the Qhapaq Ñan before arriving in Cuenca.
Day 7: Tour in the center of Cuenca – Mirador de Turi – Museum of Cultures
We will start the day with an interesting tour in the center of Cuenca to go to the Mirador de Turi that offers you a hanging bridge, tarabitas, and a tight rope. Finally, we will visit the Museum of Cultures, which exhibits aboriginal archaeological pieces, the perfect opportunity to discover our history.
Day 8: Cuenca – Cajas National Park – Guayaquil – Las Peñas – Panoramic Tour
On this next day, in Cuenca you will visit the Cajas National Park at 3,152 meters above sea level, with a spectacular paramo. Our next route will take us up to sea level and we will arrive to the city of Guayaquil and from the wonderful Barrio de las Peñas, which will give you a panoramic view of the entire coastal city.
